An ongoing series placing Caruso’s unclothed body within ordinary urban environments. Through incongruous presentation, public encounter, and self-directed photography, the work examines visibility, vulnerability, gender expression, and acceptable behavior.

Durational participatory performance · In development, 2026

A single-audience performance structured through observation, choice, institutional labeling, and writing accumulated directly on the performer’s body. As the encounter progresses, the body becomes increasingly documented, judged, and reclassified while the surrounding space retains evidence of what occurred.

Incongruous: Public Study I

Site-responsive live performance · In development, 2026

A live extension of Incongruous in which the exposed body enters a shared social environment and public response becomes part of the work rather than background documentation. The project shifts the series from constructed self-portraiture toward sustained encounter, participation, and collective observation.
